Successful Tennis of Brevard is working to ensure that every school-aged child in Brevard County has the opportunity to see what makes tennis such a great sport.

The After School Club program introduces new and beginner-level players to the fundamentals of tennis so that they can rally and play points.

12 Week Lesson Structure

Week 1 - 4

Week 5 - 8

Week 9 -12

Teach the mechanics and technique of groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, and the serve. Utilization of Tees and tools allows the players to focus on the technique and build confidence.

Players are introduced to hand-eye control exercises and movement for both the ground strokes and net play. Using the skills and techniques taught in the first 4 weeks, players are also introduced to point play.

The focus during these 4 weeks is point-play and FUN! Players have the opportunity to utilize their new skills and compete against the other players in the group. The final week culminates the program with games and a party!
